We have had some relatively mild weather here in the Midwest. But today, Mother Nature came in in with a blustery reminder that it IS December and we DO live in Minnesota! Although apple-picking season is long gone, apple crisp is always a welcome dessert on a chilly day. Nothing warm up the house more than than the sweet smell of apples and cinnamon.
